A: The tailgate seal sits against the top edge of the closed tailgate, regardless of whether it’s a 1500 or HD. The HD tailgate is heavier, but the top edge geometry is the same — so the seal is identical.
Q: Can I use this cover with the factory spray-in bed liner?
A: Yes — spray-in liners don’t interfere with the bed rail lip where the clamps mount. If the liner material is extra thick near the clamp points, you may feel slightly more resistance when tightening.

We can also ship the OEM-style reverse plates if you want to put the factory exhaust back on for resale.
